Is the Apple iPad 2 worth the wait?
As you have probably heard by now, the iPad 2 is on its way sometime in early 2011. Of course, this does not mean you have to run out and make a purchase. In fact, you may find that the original iPad is more than fine for what you need.
At this time, it is difficult to determine if waiting for the iPad 2 is the right thing to do. After all, Apple has not released many details on what the upgrade device will offer. In turn, you may not be getting much more by purchasing the next generation machine.
Some of the features that are rumored to be added to the iPad 2 include: USB port, faster processor speed, rear facing camera, metal body, and more memory. Will all of these features make it to the new iPad? Your guess is as good as mine.
There is no denying that the second generation will have more features than the original. If it didn’t there would be no point in the release. Consumers, though, will ultimately determine if it is worth the upgrade.
At this point, all you can do is wait to see what Apple has to say when they release further details on the iPad 2. At the very least, there is reason to be excited about this new product. You may never make a purchase, but with the history that Apple has there is no doubt that it will be a game changer and attract attention of millions of buyers.
